Police have busted two suspects accused of raiding New Orleans Saints star Cam Jordan's Louisiana home.

The suspects are believed to have driven nearly 1,000 miles to carry out the break-in while the 36-year-old was playing in an NFL game back in September.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto confirmed the arrests this week, saying Donald Robinson, 28, and Jadon Brown, 19, were taken into custody after police in Conyers, Georgia, pulled over a rented vehicle linked to the burglary.

'Similarly to the NFL and other high-profile burglaries that we have had around the country, it looks like individuals are targeting players during the games, mainly away games, and targeting them during that particular scenario,' Lopinto said.

The break-in took place on September 14, while Jordan was on the field for the Saints' 26–21 loss to the San Francisco 49ers at the Caesars Superdome.

Jordan broke his silence on the matter on Tuesday, when he took to X and wrote: 'Yah that Sunday sucked… the most important things, my family, was and is safe'.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed Donald Robinson, 28, and Jadon Brown, 19, had been arrested in relation to the crime

According to investigators, the crew drove roughly 500 miles, forced their way into the NFL star's home and then drove another 500 miles back the same night.

Inside, officers recovered 'a lot of the stolen property' within 24 hours of the raid, Lopinto told reporters Tuesday.

No one was home during the burglary, and Jordan's wife raised the alarm when she returned later that day.

Two additional suspects - Jahaun Suber, 20, and Devell Ortiz, 19 - remain on the run. The sheriff said his office is working with the FBI to track them down.

Lopinto said: 'We're coming after you and we're gonna get you, and I hope Cam appreciates that'.

The Daily Mail have reached out to the New Orleans Saints for comment.

Jordan joins the likes of Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes and Luka Doncic in the growing group of athletes who have been robbed in recent times.

Meanwhile, back in August, NFL legend Andre Johnson also fell victim to a burglary, with thieves running off with treasures including his Hall of Fame ring.

According to KPRC, police said the house was 'ransacked' after criminals broke a bedroom window.

The thieves made off with jewelry, watches and football memorabilia from Johnson's Hall of Fame career.

It's said the 44-year-old reported the burglary to police and is keen to pursue criminal charges against those responsible.

Several big-name athletes have been burglarized while playing road games over the past year.

Back in February, police charged seven alleged members of a South American crime ring after break-ins targeting the likes of Burrow, Mahomes and Kelce.
