NFL star Derek Stingley Jr. and his stunning girlfriend make the most of his week off by getting engaged

Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. made the most of his bye week as he got engaged to his girlfriend, Annabella Campagna.

Stingley and Campagna, who have been together since 2023, announced the news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.

'10•10•25 The most perfect day to say yes for forever,' the post was captioned.

The carousel of photos shows Stingley, 24, embracing his partner in a picturesque field after he got down on one knee and popped the question.

The couple also showed off Campagna's massive diamond ring in several shots.

Several NFL players took to the comments of the post to congratulate the pair, including Stingley's Texans teammate, Kamari Lassiter.

'CONGRATULATIONS,' he wrote.

Giants defensive back Cordale Flott, who was a college teammate of Stingley's at LSU, was also thrilled by the news.

'da stingleys,' he wrote with a pair of heart-eyes emojis.

Stingley, the No. 3 overall pick in 2022, had a Pro Bowl season last year for Houston as he totaled five interceptions and 37 solo tackles.

He registered one interception and 10 solo tackles before the Texans headed into their Week 6 bye at 2-3.

Campagna, meanwhile, is a fitness trainer and boasts just under 50,000 followers on Instagram.

She obtained a Masters degree in mental health counseling from Pace University in May 2024, while she and Stingley also celebrated their one-year anniversary last year.

'three hundred and sixty five days, I love you,' Campagna captioned a video of the pair in September 2024.

She also gushed about Stingley as they celebrated their second anniversary last month. 

'In this life and the next it’s always you, Happy Anniversary,' she said.

Stingley and the Texans began the season 0-3 but improved to 2-3 with wins over the Titans and Ravens ahead of their bye.

They'll look to get to .500 as they travel to Seattle this weekend.
