NRL cult hero turned media identity Beau Ryan has been caught on camera performing a crude act in front of his radio boss's house.

Thankfully for the ex-Cronulla and Wests Tigers star, 40, police won't be knocking on his door anytime soon.

Ryan - who is good mates with prominent manager Bruno Bouchet - is believed to have been house sitting in Sydney.

While outside the home, Ryan had to answer the call of nature - and unfortunately for The Amazing Race presenter, damning vision followed.

Co-host and fellow retired NRL player Aaron Woods set the scene on Triple M.

'You get along with our boss' husband (Bruno Bouchet) very well,' he began.

A sheepish Ryan knew he had been exposed - but was quick to point out that current renovations the Bouchets are making to their home made finding a toilet nearly impossible

'The other day our boss (Laura Bouchet) was on holiday - but she has the Ring app on her phone.

'It is a security camera, which is motion detected.

'Laura received a notification of some activity in her front yard - and it was you (Ryan) in shorts, doing a whiz.'

A sheepish Ryan knew he had been exposed, but was quick to point out that current renovations the Bouchets are doing on their home made finding a toilet - in a hurry - almost impossible.

It comes after Bulldogs boss and Channel Nine star Phil Gould hastily deleted a tweet earlier this week featuring a photo he took inside a toilet cubicle.

The footy legend put up the post on X showing the back of a door accompanied by the caption: 'Toilets, where the doors come all the way down to the floor... who thinks of this stuff? Brilliant.'

However, the surface of the door was highly polished and the 67-year-old's reflection could easily be seen as he sat down to relieve himself.

Gould deleted that and followed up with another post reading, 'Whoops...how funny. #costanza'.

The Costanza hashtag is a reference to the George Costanza character from the TV show Seinfeld, who was known for his knowledge of public toilets.

After Gould's faux pas, his 75,000 plus followers had a field day when they saw the post.

'No dramas Gus, couldn't see anything, smooth as a Ken doll,' one wrote.

'No no no no no...what were you thinking?' added another.

'Can't believe Gus just sent the whole world a d**k pic, said whoops and it's play on,' a third said.
