Thomas Tuchel has revealed three England stars are in contention to captain the Three Lions against Wales, after Harry Kane was ruled out with an ankle injury.

Kane sustained a knock in the closing stages of Bayern Munich's 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend.

The England captain has not been able to train with the Three Lions in the build-up to Thursday's friendly with Wales at Wembley.

Speaking ahead of the match, Tuchel confirmed Kane's absence as the England boss admitted it would be 'too risky' for him to feature.

Tuchel revealed Jordan Henderson, John Stones and Declan Rice as his three options to captain the side in Kane's absence.

Harry will miss the game, he got a kick in his last game with Bayern Munich,' Tuchel said.
