The Rock's daughter Ava Raine has sparked outrage after criticizing Charlie Kirk following his assassination.

Conservative commentator Kirk was fatally shot on Wednesday while speaking during an event at Utah Valley University.

And Raine, a WWE wrestler in her own right, took to social media after to react to the murder of the Turning Point USA founder.

Without naming Kirk directly, Raine re-posted an X post from comedian Gianmarco Soresi to her own Instagram story. The post read: 'If you want people to have kind words when you pass, you should say kind things when you're alive.'

The 24-year-old later doubled down on her endorsement of the post, as she wrote on X: 'and i'll stand behind this. be kind, now more than ever.'

And those words did not go down well with some WWE fans.

'Hey @TripleH and @WWE do you want this representing the younger part of the company [just wondering]?' one fan asked.

'You need to be fired,' another said.

'Disappointed and disgusted,' a third added.

'You're an absolute moron. I hope you get canned,' a fourth said.

And a fifth claimed: 'I swear new WWE is just full of Nepo losers.'

Several fans even shared a famous gif of Ava's father yelling 'Shut up b***h' during his younger wrestling days.

Raine, whose real name is Simone Johnson, is not the only person in the sports world who has spoken out against MAGA ally Kirk following his death.

Charlie Rock, a now-former communications coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, was fired after mocking Kirk's death on social media.

So too was Gerald Bourguet - who was a Phoenix Suns beat writer for the ALLCITY Network - after he called Kirk an 'evil man.'

The Dallas Cowboys were among the NFL teams to hold a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk

''Political differences' are not the same thing as spewing hateful rhetoric on a daily basis, and refusing to mourn a life devoted to that cause is not the same thing as celebrating gun violence,' Bourget wrote. 'Just so we're 100% clear on that.'

However, plenty of franchises have chosen to pay tribute to Kirk.

Earlier in the week, the Yankees and Packers honored Kirk with a moment of silence, and several more NFL franchises followed Green Bay on Sunday.

The Jets, Dolphins, Titans, Saints, Steelers, Cowboys and Cardinals all halted proceedings before their respective kickoffs to remember the life of 31-year-old Kirk.

The Lions, Bengals, Ravens, Colts and Vikings, however, did not.
