The San Francisco 49ers look set to be without Brock Purdy for at least another week, with the quarterback still missing from practice.
That is just one of a number of concerns for head coach Kyle Shanahan, who began preparations for Sunday's clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shorn of many key players.
Wide receivers Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings did not practice on Wednesday either, while Purdy's backup Mac Jones was limited as he nurses injury problems of his own.
Star running back Christian McCaffrey and left tackle Trent Williams were also among those missing from practice on Wednesday, though they are only being rested.
Purdy has played in just two games so far this season, with Shanahan confirming last week that the quarterback is still battling a toe injury.
After Thursday's win over the Los Angeles Rams, the head coach revealed that Purdy had 'reaggravated' the problem.

'He's week to week. Don't know how it will heal,' said the San Francisco coach, whose team is 4-1 and top of the NFC West.
The 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams with a beat-up Jones under center and a depleted receiver room.
Pearsall (knee) and Jennings (ankle, rib) both missed the game, in which Kendrick Bourne filled the void with 142 yards and 10 receptions.
The Buccaneers are also 4-1, having beaten the Seahawks 38-35 in a thriller over the weekend.
