A college football rivalry has taken an ugly turn after a post targeting Jackson State fans surfaced on a Southern Miss fan page, sparking backlash online.
The post, shared in a Facebook group called Eaglepost, laid out so-called 'rules' for JSU fans attending this weekend's game in Mississippi.
But instead of light-hearted banter, the list included references to fried chicken, rap music, Dodge Chargers, and other long-standing racist cliches.
One line even told Jackson State fans to 'keep your windows up and your rap down' - a remark many have slammed as blatantly disrespectful and racially charged.
The post also mocked JSU fans for allegedly not knowing how to find assigned seats, littering with 'swisher sweet wrappers,' and being poor tippers.
The post prompted immediate backlash from HBCU supporters and beyond.

Jackson State University, one of the most respected historically Black colleges in the country, has a rich football tradition and a loyal fanbase.
Critics have called the post a clear example of how HBCU programs and their communities are often demeaned and disrespected within college sports.
Making matters worse, Southern Miss is currently coached by Charles Huff - a Black man who played his college football at Hampton University, another prominent HBCU.
No official comment has been made by Southern Miss or its athletic department, but calls are growing for the university to condemn the post and distance itself from the fan group responsible.
