The Warriors are rallying around promising 19-year-old junior player Noah Jensen who is currently in hospital fighting a rare and life-threatening blood disorder.
The talented youngster was informed last week that he had PNH - paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
Jensen has already started treatment for the disorder and faces a tough path back to full health.
His family, who have set up a fundraising page, explained that their 'world had been shaken' by the shocking news.
'He is being looked after very well by the doctors and nurses and will be in hospital for some time as he needs to get all the right treatment,' they wrote.
'We are still in so much shock with the news. He will be going through some really intense treatment and has already.

'The treatment is also very expensive and Noah will be having bone marrow transplant with daily blood and platelets transfusion.
'We are very much in the unknown at the moment.
'Noah has been so strong, brave and is ready for the right treatment.'
On Tuesday, the family shared an update on Jensen who is in the Auckland Haematology Unit.
'He will settle in and we will find out over the next couple of days what everything is going to look like for him,' they wrote.
'He is in such good spirits and taking each day at a time. Our boy has so much resilience and is ready to take on what is to come his way.
'Feeling the Aroha (love) from so many and we thank you all so much for the support for Noah and Whanau (family).
'They are feeling very overwhelmed by all the generosity from you all.'

The Warriors have called on the wider rugby league community to get behind the youngster.
'Noah and his whānau received the devastating diagnosis late last week, and he now faces a challenging road ahead with significant treatment required,' a post to social media said.
More than $22,000 has been raised for Jensen so far.
