NFL fans were left stunned on Sunday as Russell Wilson produced a 'mind blowing' late touchdown pass for the Giants - though the Cowboys recovered to pull off a dramatic win in overtime.

With Big Blue trailing the Cowboys 34-30 with 33 seconds remaining in regulation, Wilson launched a 48-yard bomb to Malik Nabers to retake the lead for New York.

Wilson and his teammates went wild after the score as the passer appeared to point up at God. And fans were similarly excited online.

'HOLY S***, RUSSELL WILSON DID WHAT?!?!,' one asked.

'This is the greatest deep ball passer [of all time],' another said.

'Absolutely mind blowing,' a third beamed.

It was a historic day for Wilson through the air as he passed for 451 yards in the loss

And a fourth said: 'Tears in my eyes.'

Wilson ultimately finished the game with a career-high 451 passing yards.

However, Dallas had an answer for the quarterback's heroics.

After getting the ball back with just 25 seconds left in the game after the late Nabers score (which was his second of the day), the Cowboys managed to tie the game as time expired with a 64-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey.

The NFC East rivals then traded possessions in overtime as Wilson threw a critical interception, giving Dallas and Aubrey a second chance to win the game in the extra period.

The kicker ultimately did just that as he nailed a 46-yarder to seal the victory for Dallas.

The loss will come as a massive blow for the Giants, as they moved to 0-2 on the season despite producing 506 yards of total offense.

Wilson had also found Nabers for an acrobatic 29-yard score in the first half, and gave the Giants another fourth advantage with a 32-yard score to Wan'Dale Robinson.

Dallas, meanwhile, earned their first win of the season under new coach Brian Schottenheimer, as Dak Prescott racked up 362 passing yards and two touchdowns.
