Chargers receiver Quentin Johnston exited his team's preseason game on Saturday night after suffering a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit.
Johnston was going out to catch a pass in the first quarter when the Rams' Tanner Ingle hit the side of his head and knocked him to the ground.
The receiver also slammed his head onto the turf as he went to the ground, and was soon carted to the locker room after receiving medical attention.
