Alvin Kamara could not hide his frustration at the New Orleans Saints after they made the surprising decision to release safety and special teams player J.T. Gray.
The surprising news dropped on Monday, just six days before the Saints' opening game of the season against the Arizona Cardinals.
Gray, 29, is a three-time All-Pro player who has been with the Saints since 2018.
Moments after the announcement had been made, Kamara posted a blunt message on social media that made his thoughts clear. He simply wrote: 'WTF'.
Gray had been forced to skip a lot of training camp and preseason with a hamstring injury but it is clear why the decision has been made to release him.
Gray played college football at Mississippi State and then, during his seven year in New Orleans, played just 153 defensive snaps at safety. He was used more often as a special teams player.

Running back Kamara is undoubtedly the Saints' key player as they head into the new season under another new head coach.
Kellen Moore became one of the youngest head coaches in the NFL in February when he agreed to take up the position after leaving his role as the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Two days earlier, Moore helped guide the Eagles to Super Bowl glory over the Kansas City Chiefs inside the Saints' Superdome.
The Saints fired former head coach Dennis Allen on November 4 before Darren Rizzi, the Saints' special teams coordinator, was promoted to interim coach.
They eventually finished with a 5-12 record and extended their playoff absence to four seasons.
