We're into the second week of Wimbledon now but the drama, thrills, spills and storylines show no sign of slowing down.

Flavio Cobolli's emotional win to reach the quarter-finals left his father in floods of tears in the crowd.

And GB doubles star Henry Patten was furious after he was stung with a £9k fine for verbally abusing staff.

Mail Sport's David Coverdale was on hand to recap some of the things you may have missed.

Absent-minded Andreeva doesn't realise she's won!

Mirra Andreeva became the youngest woman to reach the quarter-finals here for 20 years — even though she forgot the score! Rather than celebrate when Emma Navarro hit the net on match point, the Russian, 18, retreated to the back of the court and got ready to return serve.

‘I kept telling myself I was the one who was behind to help me stay focused,’ she said.

Italy's new hero has dad in tears

Flavio Cobolli reduced his family to tears after reaching his first quarter-final at a Grand Slam.

The Italian 22nd seed saw off Marin Cilic in four sets as cameras panned to his father and brother crying in the crowd.

‘It’s very special,’ said Cobolli, 22, who meets Novak Djokovic in the last eight.

‘My dad is crying, my brother also. It’s a moment I cannot forget.’

Tearful Bencic having mother of all fortnights

Nine mothers started in the women’s singles and now only one remains — Belinda Bencic.

In her first Wimbledon since giving birth to daughter Bella 15 months ago, the unseeded Swiss beat 18th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova to make the last eight for the first time.

Bencic was in tears upon victory and said: ‘It’s amazing to share these memories as a family. Bella loves the strawberries!’

GB doubles star's fury over 9k fine

Defending doubles champion Henry Patten blasted SW19 chiefs after being fined £9,166 for verbally abusing staff who tried to cut short his practice.

Patten said: ‘I am disappointed Wimbledon thought it appropriate to disclose this without indicating my appeal. I do not believe there has been a full or proper investigation.’
