San Antonio Spurs announcer Jacob Tobey has reportedly returned to his job after getting fired in the wake of explosive affair allegations.
The lead play-by-play announcer for the NBA team was let go back in July after he was accused of cheating on his then-girlfriend with a player's sister.
But Tobey has now seemingly won his job back and announced the news on social media on Friday.
'I thank the Spurs for allowing me time to step away to sort out issues in my personal life,' he posted.
'I understand that I will have to regain trust within the organization and across our community, a community where I will continue to be present with enthusiasm and passion.
'I believe I have the best job in the world and am thrilled to be able to continue as the team's play-by-play announcer.'

The scandal erupted when Tobey's girlfriend accused him of infidelity in an explosive social media post on his own account in the middle of the night.
The post read: 'This is my girlfriend of six years. But I cheated on her so feel free to continue following me if you really think I'm a good guy because I'm not. :)'. It also included a picture of them in happier times.
Another post then showed a strip of pictures that appeared to show Tobey and his alleged mistress kissing in a photo booth at a San Antonio bar.
Hours later, the posts had been deleted and Tobey's accounts were changed to private.
But, in a post on her own Instagram account, Tobey's now ex-girlfriend indicated she was behind the inflammatory posts and their relationship was over.
Tobey has been calling Spurs games since 2024 and has built up an impressive reputation within the sports media industry.
Last year, he earned a spot on Front Office Sports' list of rising young play-by-play broadcasters.
Before landing the job with the Spurs, Tobey worked for 9News in Denver and called games for both Fox Sports and the Pac-12 Network.
The job with the Spurs is an extremely attractive one, given the team's recent run to the NBA Finals and core of promising young players, including the superstar Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs were eventually beaten 4-1 in the NBA Finals by the New York Knicks, who won their first title since 1973.
