A college football player suffered the ultimate live TV nightmare on Friday after having his pants pulled down during a tackle – leaving his backside exposed to viewers.
Michigan State running back Cam Edwards endured the unfortunate disaster during the first quarter of the Spartans' season opener against Toledo in East Lansing.
Taking a handoff on a run up the middle, Edwards was swallowed up by a swarm of Toledo defenders near the line of scrimmage.
However, as Toledo's Lucas Lambert-Pipkin dragged him to the turf, the defender's hand got caught on Edwards' pants, pulling them down beyond his backside.
As Edwards lay on the turf, the FS1 broadcast camera zoomed right in on the downed running back as he struggled to pull his pants back up.
To make matters worse, Edwards' compression shorts had also ridden down, briefly exposing his bare backside to the viewers at home.

The camera lingered for several excruciating seconds while Edwards scrambled on the turf to fix his uniform, sparking disbelief and jokes across social media.
One fan on X wrote: 'No model has a variable for losing your pants during a tackle. Week 1 remains undefeated.'
Meanwhile, another said: 'Michigan State RB Cam Edwards just got pantsed in front of 75,000+ people. This is why we love college football!'
Despite the mortifying on-field moment, Edwards brushed off the mishap to lead the Spartans' ground attack in his Michigan State debut.
The UConn transfer carried the ball 27 times for 98 yards and scored a touchdown, helping propel Michigan State to a 30-20 victory in front of the home crowd.
Edwards arrived in East Lansing during the offseason after a four-year stint at UConn, where he established himself as the Huskies' primary offensive weapon.
