Paris Saint-Germain's nightmare start to the new season continued on Friday night as Luis Enrique's side were beaten 2-1 by Monaco.
The loss means PSG, the reigning French and European champions, are languishing in 12th place after three games.
After beating Aston Villa to lift the European Super Cup, PSG have lost to Lens in the French Super Cup and drawn against Rennes and Lille before their latest slip-up at home to Monaco.
Four PSG stars have come under fire for the European giants' poor start to the season with keeper Matvei Safonov, Willian Pacho, Marquinhos and Achraf Hakimi being criticised.
French publication L'Equipe labelled Safonov 'indecisive' while lamenting the centre back partnership of Pacho and Marquinhos.
PSG have conceded eight goals in five matches with a 'physical deficit' said to be evident.
Club captain Marquinhos, 32, has just begun his 14th season in the French capital and has been a serial winner since joining from Roma in 2013.

He has won 11 French titles and back-to-back Champions Leagues but is said to be struggling after a testing World Cup campaign with Brazil.
Marquinhos opened the scoring in the 31st minute but couldn't help his side claim the three points.
Brazil were knocked out at the round of 16 stage by Norway while Pacho's Ecuador exited at the round of 32.
Hakimi's Morocco reached the quarter-finals but were beaten 2-0 by France.
The performances of Marquinhos and Pacho have been described as 'sluggish' while the team's star midfield duo of Joao Neves and Vitinha have not avoided criticism.
Their slow recovery runs are said to be hampering PSG's defensive set-up.
Safonov has conceded six goals from nine shots on target in Ligue 1 with the Russian being particularly vulnerable at shots at his near post.
Luis Enrique, who has signed a new contract at PSG until June 2030, is implementing a new policy this season where he rotates key players for every match.
Key man Ousmane Dembele started the game on the bench but was brought on in the 69th minute when the sides were level at 1-1.
New signing Lucas Digne was left out of his squad despite the fact first choice left back Nuno Mendes was suspended.
'It will be a different trend this season,' explained Luis Enrique.
'There are three players for every match who won't make the squad list.
'We have to get used to seeing important players left off the list.'
He added on Digne: 'It's not a major issue. I'm very happy, I know him well,
'It will be like this all season with various players.'
PSG's attention now turns to the start of their quest to win the Champions League three years in a row with a home match against Slovakia's Slovan Bratislava to come on Wednesday.
