Jadon Sancho has reportedly agreed personal terms with Italian champions Napoli as he looks to end his Old Trafford nightmare.
The 25-year-old joined Manchester United for £73million in 2021 and there were high hopes for the star who had excelled at Borussia Dortmund.
But he has scored just nine Premier League goals for the Red Devils and he never recovered from a public spat with Erik Ten Hag, which saw him loaned out to Dortmund last year.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea after falling out of favour at Old Trafford.
A mixed season saw the Blues decline to sign him permanently for £25m, even though that meant they had to pay a £5m penalty to send him back to Manchester.
But now the England international is finally on the verge of leaving United permanently.

While he has agreed personal terms, the deal, which was said to be close to completion, has been stalled after United set their asking price too high.
Ruben Amorim's side have asked for a €25m (£21.3m) transfer fee, which is too much for Napoli, according to Sky Sports Italia.
Sancho is hoping to reinvigorate his career but it appears United are struggling to shift him.
Despite his past success in Germany, Dortmund are not keen on offering him a route out of Manchester.
Last week Dortmund's sporting director Sebastie Kehl ruled out a move.
'Of course, there's always some kind of contact with Jadon because of the long history we share, but at the moment, Jadon is not a topic for us,' he said.
If Sancho were to complete a move to Napoli, he would line up under former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and a host of former Premier League players.

Former United midfielder Scott McTominay was named Serie A player of the season while ex-United striker Romelu Lukaku and Billy Gilmour also starred as Napoli won just their second league title in 35 years.
Conte is looking bolster his squad as the Naples outfit look to retain the league next season and compete in the latter stages of the Champions League.
Last week they officially confirmed the signing of Manchester City legend Kevin De Bruyne.
Napoli are also reportedly targeting Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez for a summer move and have been linked with Jack Grealish, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Trevoh Chalobah.
