Dutch giants Feyenoord are reportedly pursuing a deal to sign Jamie Vardy as a free agent.
Vardy netted nine Premier League goals for Leicester last season before bringing the curtain down on a legendary 13-year stint with the Foxes.
The 38-year-old former England striker has courted interest from across world football this summer, and has previously been linked with a move to Serie A side Cremonese.
However, according to The Telegraph, Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie is determined to bring Vardy to the Eredivisie this summer.
The report states that the former Arsenal and Manchester United striker has been personally involved in trying to get the move over the line.
Van Persie began his glittering playing career at Feyenoord, and was appointed head coach of the club in February after first stepping into the dugout with fellow Dutch side Heerenveen.

Upon Van Persie's arrival Feyenoord had won just one of their last five league games as Danish boss Brian Priske struggled to live up to Arne Slot at the De Kuip.
After Van Persie was named his successor, the club enjoyed a strong end to the campaign, finishing third and securing a place in the Champions League qualifying round.
Feyenoord were defeated by Fenerbahce on aggregate earlier this month for a place in UEFA's premier club competition.
The club could still entice Vardy with the prospect of European football, however.
Feyenoord will compete in this season's Europa League, and have been drawn in the league phase against the likes of Aston Villa, Celtic and Real Betis.
