49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and wife Jenna announce the birth of their first child

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is now a girl dad as he and wife Jenna Purdy announced the birth of their daughter on Monday on social media. 

Millie Joleen Purdy was born this month, with mom and dad sharing a picture of the three on Instagram to reveal the news. 

'Life just became a whole lot sweeter,' the post was captioned. 

Multiple of Purdy's 49er teammates had already sent him congratulations for becoming a father in the comments including George Kittle, Kyle Juszczyk, and Fred Warner. 

Purdy missed Friday's training camp practice to be with his family but had returned to the field on Sunday. 

Millie's exact date of birth was not released by her family in the post.  

Millie shares a middle name with her mother, Joleen, as Brock raved about his wife in a post marking their wedding from two years ago.
