Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay's offseason vacation photos reportedly set tongues wagging in the team's locker room.

McVay went viral this summer when he stunned fans with a photo showing off his ripped physique.

McVay's wife, Veronika Khomyn McVay, shared an image of her and her husband on a boat getting some sun in June.

Even though Veronika flaunted her physique in a bikini, the NFL coach stole the show as he went bare-chested while wrapping his arm around his wife's shoulders.

The image caught fans' attention, quickly setting social media alight. However, it appears it also became a topic of conversation in the locker room.

During a '60 Minutes' interview that aired Sunday, Matthew Stafford was asked whether he had seen the picture of his coach's abs.

Football fans were stunned by Rams coach Sean McVay's shirtless vacation photographs

Matthew Stafford revealed that the viral photos also set tongues wagging in the locker room

'Oh, yeah,' Stafford said. 'We all were like, "We better hit the weight room, because this guy's shredded."'

'That's the guy I know,' the quarterback added. 'He's putting the time and the effort in.'

After the image went viral, American football fans all shared the belief that the 40-year-old could be ready to take some snaps on the field.

'He looks like he's been sneaking into Aaron Donald's medicine cabinet when trying to get him to unretire,' one user posted to X.

Another joked, 'Sean McVay is listed at QB2 for the Rams.'

'Sean gonna have a lot of NFL coaches looking at themselves in the mirror,' a different reply read.

The Rams were thoroughly dominated by the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers as LA scored only once in their opening 27-7 defeat last week.

McVay and the Rams suffered an opening 27-7 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers last week

Much had been made about the Rams' decision to fly across the Pacific Ocean only 28 hours prior to the game – as well as their decision to continue to operate on LA time – as opposed to the 49ers' choice to arrive in Australia over a week before to get acclimated.

San Francisco looked the much better rested and much better prepared team as they put up nearly 100 more yards on the day and held reigning MVP Matthew Stafford to just 155 yards passing.

After the heavy loss, McVay owned up to the defeat and took responsibility: 'They outplayed us in every facet. I didn't do nearly a good enough job.

'This is a humbling day for us, and this will define us only if we allow it to.'
