Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt flaunts her figure in tiny cheerleader outfit as she returns to college after her gap year

Kansas City Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt is back at college after a gap year, and is celebrating her return to the cheer team at Southern Methodist University (SMU). 

Ava is the youngest daughter of NFL owner Clark Hunt, and she previously committed to the cheerleading squad at SMU for her freshman year in 2024.

She then took 12 months away from the Mustangs and her business management course to focus on faith-based humanitarian work, but is back with a bang for 2026-27.

In a post on her friend Cheyanna Frazier's Instagram, Ava can be seen back in her SMU outfit, posing for photos alongside her friends after returning to University Park, Texas.

Alongside the caption 'we are SO back,' Ava, Cheyanna and the rest of the cheer roster pose for a series of photos on media day as they prepare for the new season.

Ava appears delighted to be back on the campus after ending her time with a Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii. 

She shared few updates from her time on the island, but last October did write on Instagram: 'It has been such an incredible experience so far! God is truly so good and His glory and love are so evident in this beautiful place!!'

Now, though, attention is turning back to her studies – and her focus on improving her marketing knowledge at SMU's Cox School of Business.

It has been reported that Ava, now 21, is keen to learn the ins and outs of corporate branding – aligning her perfectly with the sports and entertainment legacy she could well inherit from her father Clark.

The Hunt family has owned the Kansas City Chiefs since its inception in 1959, with Lamar Hunt, Clark's father, the principal founder of the American Football League.

Clark took the reins when his father died in 2006, and the team has gone on to win three Super Bowl titles, making the playoffs 12 times. 

Ava is one of three children set to inherit the family's incredible fortune, and she has one sister, Gracie, and one brother, Knobel.

Gracie is the most public-facing of the three, and she already works within the Chiefs organization in public relations and brand development. 

Knobel, meanwhile, has taken a different path after leaving SMU and is currently working as an investment banking analyst at JP Morgan in New York City.
