Soccer Aid may be a friendly game with the aim of raising money for charity but there appeared to be some real tension between internet personality Angry Ginge and  Carlos Tevez.

Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is a lifelong Man United fan and has previously said that he 'can't stand' Tevez.

The retired Argentine famously joined United's local rivals Man City after helping them win two Premier league titles and the Champions League.

It was a move that did not sit well with the Old Trafford faithful and Ginge took his chance to get a small piece of revenge as he flew in with a crunching challenge on Tevez during Sunday's game at the Theatre of Dreams..

And Tevez also made sure to leave something in on Ginge during the collision, which briefly threatened to turn into an actual scuffle.

The YouTuber took to Instagram to share a photo of a large cut on his leg after the game, writing 'cheers Tevez, t***.'

Tevez ultimately had the last laugh on the night, scoring four goals in 15 minutes to inspire a comeback from the World XI.

Tevez was booed by the crowd after each of them but his efforts levelled the game, allowing Big Zuu to score a late winner for a 5-4 triumph.

Earlier, Tevez appeared to revel in the role of pantomime villain as he responded to the boos by cupping his ear and showing the crowd the back of his shirt.

Wayne Rooney had earlier opened the scoring in front of the Stretford End, before ex-Lionesses star Toni Duggan doubled the home side's lead.

Jermain Defoe bagged a brace for England after the break but the second half belonged to Tevez.

Tevez may have scored four but it was Ginge who was named player of the match for his tireless defensive work.
