Conor Coady is a target for ambitious Wrexham as they try to build a squad capable of reaching the Premier League in the next two years.
The Leicester defender, who has extensive top-flight experience, is set to leave King Power Stadium this summer and Wrexham are among the front runners to bring him in.

Wrexham are on the cusp of smashing it for a third time after agreeing a £7.5million club record move with Ipswich Town for forward Nathan Broadhead.
Mail Sport understands the move for Broadhead is close to being finalised with the offer too good for Ipswich, who had no intention of selling, to turn down with 12 months remaining on the former Wrexham academy star’s contract.
But boss Phil Parkinson has been seeking a new centre back all summer long to compliment young stars Max Cleworth and Lewis Brunt in a back three.
Speaking on Tuesday, Parkinson admitted that he wanted to get as many of his targets in ahead of their Championship season opener away to Southampton on August 9.
The 32-year-old Coady has made 198 Premier League appearances and was a mainstay of the Wolves team who twice finished seventh in the top division and reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
He was also part of the England squad for Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. It is believed there would be a fee involved for Coady, who has 12 months to run on his Foxes contract.
