New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor may have lost a sleeve, but he wasn't losing the ball too.
The signal caller started under center for the Jets as they tried to keep any hope of making the playoffs alive against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
However, the Falcons' defense tried their best to end New York's season early as they blitzed the veteran.
And during the first half of the clash, it was the Falcons rookie edge rusher James Pearce Jr who became the latest to try and bring Taylor down but the quarterback miraculously withstood Pearce's bombardments.
As Pearce went in for the tackle, he managed to get a hold on the sleeve of Taylor's white underlayer underneath his green Jets jersey.
Taylor attempted to wiggle out of Pearce's hold but the defenseman held tight, ultimately tearing the sleeve completely off the play caller's arm.

Despite Pearce's aggressive hold, Taylor held strong, refusing to go down and somehow not only staying on his feet but also spinning out of the tackle and escaping.
The starting duties were handed over to Taylor last weekend when head coach Aaron Glenn decided to bench Justin Fields for the Baltimore Ravens clash.
The veteran signal caller completed 17-of-28 passes for 22 yards and a touchdown but the Jets still suffered a second consecutive loss to slump to 2-9.
Fields, who remained benched for this weekend's game against the Falcons, claimed he was surprised by the change.
'I didn't anticipate it whosoever,' Fields said, via SNY. 'The first day it happens, it's tough. It probably took me a day and a half to fully accept my role, then last Friday I felt myself in kind of a "damn" moment to where it was like, "Yeah, it's actually real."
'You can call it what you want, but A.G. thought it was justified and he makes the decisions around here - all I can do now is focus on myself, focus on my team, and just try to get better each and every day.'
