'The chance Isak needed'

By Ian Ladyman At The London Stadium

That was exactly the kind of chance Isak needed – one where there was no time to think and when instinct took over.Lovely Liverpool goal and came just when West Ham had enjoyed their best spell of the day.Wirtz involved again. He and Gravenberch have been Liverpool’s two best players so far.

West Ham 0-1 Liverpool

By Lewis Browning

That is what Liverpool do when they click! What a great goal.

Can Liverpool add to their tally now? Kerkez does well to latch onto a long ball down the left and wins his side a corner.

Gakpo to take. Areola punches away.

West Ham's move now!

Goal:West Ham 0-1 Liverpool (Isak 60')

By Lewis Browning

A couple more corners are headed away by Liverpool. Surely Slot must be turning to his bench soon...

Paqueta then shoots from distance and Mavropanos does well to intercept a Wirtz ball for Gakpo.

A long throw now from Joe Gomez...

AND ISAK SCORES!

That is a really nice goal. Good play from Wirtz and Gakpo, with the latter onside down the left. He squares it for Isak... and the striker scores his first Premier League goal for Liverpool!

West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

By Lewis Browning

Liverpool's play is decent, but there just seems to be a lack of connecting at certain points. Shown here as Kerkez's whipped cross is touched on and into no man's land.

A bit better from West Ham in the last few minutes.

Bowen's cross is blocked by van Dijk for a corner. Ball in and Gakpo heads away.

West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

By Lewis Browning

Still very subdued inside the London Stadium. Liverpool need to pick things up soon, or Arne Slot will be looking to his bench.

Gravenberch mis-places a pass towards Wirtz but then the home fans let out a groan as a Hammers ball forward runs all the way through to Alisson.

Gakpo then sends an effort about eight miles over the bar.

SECOND-HALF: West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

By Lewis Browning

We're back underway in our three games!

'The best half from Wolves this season'

Let’s be honest, that might be the best half of football Wolves have produced this season. At a difficult ground, they’ve limited Villa to one big chance. Then Wolves have had a goal disallowed and forced two good saves from Martinez, one of which was tipped on to the bar.Villa need to be braver and maybe use a proper winger, rather than having McGinn and Buendia so narrow, where they run into traffic. Not a thriller, but intriguing.

Liverpool still rusty

By Lewis Browning

Well, we can't say they haven't had their chances.

Wirtz and Gakpo with the best of the bunch for Liverpool, with Isak going the closest

There have been some nice periods of play, but nothing clinical.

Mohamed Salah, anyone?

'Patient from Wolves'

Very patient passing move from Wolves ends with Strand Larsen forcing a sharp save from Martinez after a decent cross by Tchatchoua. And from Andre’s corner, Mosquera’s header is pushed against the underside of the bar by Martinez.

Goal:Nottingham Forest 0-1 Brighton (De Cuyper 45 +1')

By Lewis Browning

Just before the half-time whistle, we have our opener from the 2:05pm games - and it comes in Nottingham!

Maxim De Cuyper is the man with the goal, getting into the area to finish and give Brighton what is a deserved lead with their 13th shot of the first half.

It's not the best look for Nottingham Forest, who allow the Belgian to drift into the box and Rutter find him well.

Likely work for Sean Dyche to do at the interval.

HALF-TIME: West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

By Lewis Browning

West Ham win a free-kick and Liverpool's line is so deep. Van Dijk clears, and Mac Allister wins a throw off Fernandes.

Just one minute added on...

The half will end with a West Ham corner.

Potts crosses and a foul is given. There's the whistle.

'Liverpool should be comfortably ahead'

By Ian Ladyman At The London Stadium

Liverpool should be comfortably ahead here and they are not. And if I was Arne Slot that would worry me a bit.His team have played pretty well and have controlled the game. But West Ham will have a spell at some point. What happens when that arrives?
