Wayne Rooney has stunned fans on social media after cheekily picking himself over every other rival in a game of winner stays on.
In a viral video shared on X and seen almost seven million times, Rooney was asked to choose between himself and several other world-class strikers.
At the end, the player remaining would then be crowned the champion.
The likes of Luis Suarez, Harry Kane, Neymar and Erling Haaland were all thrown his way but the Manchester United legend was bullish in his selections.
Indeed, Rooney opted for himself over all of his competitors, also brushing aside Alessandro Del Piero, Sergio Aguero, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robert Lewandowski.
At one point, Rooney, clad in a black turtleneck jumper, remarked 'these are tough, by the way!'. He also delivered his picks with a wry smile on his face.

There were brief moments of hesitation when he was put up against Neymar, Aguero, Lewandowski and Haaland - but in the end, he ensured he became the winner.
Several viewers were left in disbelief at his choices, while others agreed.
'"These are tough" and he's picking himself,' one user remarked.
In response, another said: 'Bro thinks he's better than Neymar, Suarez, Zlatan, Lewa, Haaland' and included a crying laughing emoji.
'No way he's better than Suarez and Neymar, tho [sic]?' a third said. 'Not even close to Neymar.'
Another added: 'He said he's better than Zlatan? Br must be smoking something.'
But one fan believes Rooney was almost faultless, writing: 'Other than Neymar he was absolutely spot on.'
One account would also have picked Rooney over his rivals.
They said: 'As an Arsenal fan, all those were spot on tbh. You Gen Z kids don't know about prime Rooney.'
