Former UFC fighter BJ Penn has been arrested after being accused of punching and kicking another man in Hawai'i.

Hawai'i Island Police say the 46-year-old ex-fighter was booked and charged with third-degree assault after the incident that occurred early Tuesday morning.

Police were called to a home in the city of Hilo, the largest city on the 'big island' of Hawai'i around 1:00am after a 45-year-old man said Penn hit him several times.
