Taylor Swift made it back at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in their pivotal showdown with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The Chiefs needed overtime to beat the Colts and keep their playoff hopes alive in what was a bruising 23-20 win on Sunday afternoon. A loss could have had a major impact on the rest of Kelce's football career from here, given he admitted again last week that he could retire when the season is over.

The singer, 35, was spotted by fans enjoying the game in a VIP suite, with a picture of her going viral on social media on Sunday evening.

More eagle-eyed Swifties also saw her in the background of a video on Instagram shared by Kelce's friend, Aric Jones, showing a group of the Chiefs star's pals having a celebratory shot in the suite.

It's not possible to see if Swift was partaking too, but it is clearly her in the background.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Swift and Kelce have chosen her sprawling $28 million Rhode Island mansion as the venue for their wedding and are overseeing renovations for the big day.

Swift owns an oceanfront estate in Rhode Island which now appears to be set as the venue for one of the most anticipated weddings in recent memory.

But for Sunday, and in truth for the next few days, football is back to center stage for the power couple with the Chiefs desperately needing to find an extra gear after a rocky campaign so far.

Sunday's win over the Colts is a start and Kelce now has a short window to recover as the Chiefs play again on Thursday in a huge Thanksgiving showdown against Dallas Cowboys in Texas.

Kelce had a touchdown ruled out when officials called Chiefs tackle Jawaan Taylor for an offensive facemask penalty while the tight end dived into the endzone.

It proved a controversial decison, however, with replays proving Taylor's hand didn't make contact with Kwity Paye's mask.

Kelce ended the game with four receptions for a total of 43 yards. Two of his star teammates, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Rashee Rice, appeared to take some damage in what was a war of a game in Kansas City.

Rice looked the most concerning issue, with announcers suggesting he may have hurt his hamstring. But if that was the case, he played through the pain barrier to help the Chiefs get the win.

Until the fourth quarter, Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker had kept Kansas City in the game. Kareem Hunt finally made it to the end zone in the fourth quarter before the Chiefs eventually found a way in overtime.

Sunday's win could prove huge for Kelce and the Chiefs as they fight to make the playoffs

Kelce had a touchdown controversially ruled out in the early exchanges against the Colts

'We found a way there in the fourth quarter to get some things going on offense and put up some touchdowns,' Kelce said in the locker room after the game.

The Chiefs are now 6-5 and still have plenty of work to do to make January football a reality.

After the Cowboys, they have two home games against the Houston Texans and divisional rival Los Angeles Chargers, which could be crucial in establishing a playoff place.

That game falls on Decembe 14, a day after Swift's 36th birthday.
