Hours after a blistering reunion with her ex-fiance in Santa Monica, Sydney Sweeney was stealing the show at Nascar''s Championship Race in Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.

Daily Mail pictured Sweeney with Jonathan Davino, 42, on Saturday night in a blacked out vehicle. Reports later claimed that the actress blew up at Davino, screaming: 'I don't believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.'

But the glamorous Hollywood star, 28, showed no sign of distress on Sunday as she gave a speech to the thousands of fans in attendance at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale.

'Most days, this checkered flag means victory, but today, it means something more,' Sweeney said, before referencing her hugely anticipated upcoming movie, where she plays boxer Christy Martin.

'A dream realized, a life changed, a name that will never be forgotten. In my new film ‘Christy,’ I play a warrior. A fighter who refused to quit. ‘Christy’ is about grit, about determination – the same spirit that it takes to make it to the Championship Four.

'So, to our future champion, remember what this flag stands for. You’re not just another driver, you’re a NASCAR champion.'

Sweeney, a two-time Emmy nominee, was dressed in a racing jacket, boots and shorts for her high-profile appearance.

As well as adressing the crowd, Sweeney met and posed for pictures with some of the drivers in the race, such as Ryan Blaney.

Sweeney's tense encounter with Davino comes amid romance rumors with Scooter Braun, the music executive who was once involved in a long-running feud with Taylor Swift.

Sweeney and Davino, who dated for several years and got engaged in early 2022, previously kept their relationship largely private.

At this time, it is unknown whether the pair were meeting on Saturday night to consider rekindling their romance or if they simply remain close friends.

Before meeting Davino, Sweeney had been dining with friends in LA at celeb Giorgio Baldi. She had been cheering on the Dodgers in Game 7 of the World Series, which the team won against Toronto Blue Jays.

But as the Dodgers finally clinched their second straight baseball championship and sent most of the city into celebration, Sweeney was leaving her party to meet up with her ex.

Sweeney and the record executive Braun, 44, met over the summer at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's Venetian wedding in Italy and ever since, the pair have seemingly been inseparable.

They said the stars were like 'teenage lovers' who are constantly in contact with one another.

At the racing on Sunday, Sweeney also met WNBA star Sophie Cunningham, popular herself for being one of the most glamorous players in women's basketball.

Cunningham, 29, a teammate of Caitlin Clark's at Indiana Fever, posted a picture of the two together with a somewhat raunchy and self-depricating caption.

'One of us forgot our t**s at home,' Cunniingham wrote, tagging Sweeney in the caption.

Cunningham used to play for Phoenix Mercury before teaming up with Clark in Indiana last season.
