New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart has endeared himself to the fanbase through his strong performances which started his NFL career.
But now, the rookie out of Ole Miss is tugging on the heartstrings of Giants fans in a different way when he was seen parading around a children's hospital in a Halloween costume to bring joy to the patients.
Dart made a connection with Giuseppe Maneiro, a five-year-old boy who is battling leukemia and was staying in the hospital.
As posted to Giuseppe's Instagram page, the little one went in to hug Dart who returned the kind gesture.
Dart was also seen coloring with the boy and having conversations with him to brighten up his day.
Fans, perhaps misty-eyed, couldn't help but leave comments expressing their joy at the kind scenes.

A beautiful gesture and an incredibly kind thing to do. 🎃🙏

Another fan commented, 'Got to give these players kudos when they take their time to put a smile on someone's face and they are legitimate. Caring about others.'
'Speaking from experience this stuff matters to these kids and their family. Awesome stuff!' read another post.
A different comment read, 'He seems so genuine. I hope he stays that way.'
Dart has been a shining light for Big Blue since getting his first start earlier in the season.
This week, he leads the 2-6 Giants into battle against the San Francisco 49ers.
