Ruben Amorim fears Benjamin Sesko may have suffered a serious knee injury in Manchester United’s draw at Tottenham.
United’s £73.7million summer signing came on as a 58th-minute substitute, but went off half an hour later limping heavily.
Amorim will have to wait for an update on Sesko’s condition, but admitted that he is concerned about the situation.
Asked if it might be serious, the United boss replied: ‘I have no idea. Because it’s the knee, we never know.
‘I’m concerned with the injury because it's in the knee. We need Ben to be a better team. We have to check everything, we have to check what has happened with Ben.’

Amorim didn’t rule out adding new signings in the January transfer window if Sesko has suffered a major injury or to cover for Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo - who are heading to AFCON
Amorim didn’t rule out adding new signings in the January transfer window if Sesko has suffered a major injury or to cover for Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui who will be away for up to a month at the Africa Cup of Nations.
‘Of course, we are going to have a problem there, but we already knew that,’ he added.
‘So the management of that situation is going to be hard. But let's see when the window is open, if we can improve the team and try to repair something that happened. Until then, we have to take the chance.’
