This weekend's Sunday football schedule features three mouthwatering afternoon clashes, with West Ham hosting Liverpool, Wolves travelling north to Villa Park to face Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest welcoming Brighton to the City Ground.
In the Midlands, Wolves will be hunting Rob Edwards' first win as manager after the former Middlesbrough man was recruited to reverse their dire start to the season, while fellow new dugout incumbent Sean Dyche will hope to continue his bright start at home after thumping Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield.
Indeed, Arne Slot's Reds make the most intriguing prospect of the afternoon fixtures, with the current Premier League champions in desperate need of a win on the road.
The Merseyside club could begin the road to reversing their fortunes at their east London opponents, who have only managed to overcome Newcastle, Burnley, and Nottingham Forest since the start of the season.
But fans of those clashes will have to wait a little longer than usual for their results.
All three fixtures, which would normally occupy the 2pm slot on Sunday afternoon, have had their kick-off times shunted due to an scheduling quirk.
Liverpool are in dire need of a win after another disappointing outing in the Champions League
Instead, the three clashes will kick-off at 2.05pm, having been pushed down the schedule due to the early start of the first match of the day, Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park meeting with Manchester United.
Due to their travails in Europe, Palace will play United on Sunday, rather than occupy a Saturday spot on the heels of their Thursday night defeat to Chelsea's French sister club Strasbourg.
Their 12pm kick-off against Ruben Amorim and Co means that in order to ensure that match action does not spill into subsequent games, marginally adjusted kick-off times are required.
But things will return to normal later in the afternoon, with a top-of-the-table showdown between Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Premier League leaders will have the opportunity to go an eye-catching nine points clear at the summit if they turn over their west London hosts.
But Enzo Maresca's side will look to take the fight to Mikel Arteta's men on Sunday afternoon, buoyed up with confidence after thrashing Barcelona 3-0 in Champions League action in midweek.
