Gold Coast Titans majority owner Rebecca Frizelle has slammed Corey Parker on live radio after the Broncos great accused the NRL club of 'blindsiding' new head coach Josh Hannay.

Parker, now employed by SEN Radio after Fox League didn't renew his contract, questioned if Hannay was on borrowed time after it emerged in October the Titans were chasing Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy.

It prompted Frizelle to address the speculation on Parker's morning radio show on Tuesday.

Frizelle didn't mince her words, and stressed she would 'never be dishonest.'

'I try not to listen to outside noise,' she said on SENQ.

'Corey, I'd like to clear this up now.... because it did bother me that you would think that we (Titans) would be dishonest or not transparent with our incoming coach regarding Craig Bellamy.

'I want to say on the record we would never operate that way. We are straight shooters and we will always be transparent.

'We would never treat anyone poorly like that. 'I hope that clears it up for the public.... there was nothing we did that neither Josh or Craig Bellamy were not across.'

Frizelle's strong comments came after Parker stated he felt for Hannay, who in his view had 'somewhat been blindsided'.

It followed the bombshell development that a clause was in place when it came to Hannay's contract where he would be demoted to an assistant role if Bellamy became available.

Parker then urged the Titans to 'front the media' and clarify the matter.

On Tuesday, Parker felt Frizelle's version of events 'provided great clarity.'

'Because for such a period of time there was a bit of uncertainty, not from your end.... but I did say from our end that within the four walls, you would hope it would be handled differently,' he said.

'(But) you have absolutely cleared that up without a doubt.'

Meanwhile, Frizelle later stated she 'isn't too worried' about the Perth Bears potentially poaching the club's two best players - forward Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and half Jayden Campbell ahead of the 2027 NRL season.

'I wish them all the success, (but) I think they have a big challenge ahead,' she said.

'Perth coming in is great for the game. 'It's a big ask for people to move across, with the time difference, the travel, it will be a challenge.

'If we do lose people to them, I wish them luck.'

It also follows Fox League identities Matty Johns and Gorden Tallis purchasing minority stakes in the Titans, with both convinced the NRL club is on the rise.
