Referee Adrian Hill needed to be carted off the field after suffering a serious injury in the second half of the Bills' clash with the Texans on Thursday.

With Houston leading 20-16 in the third quarter, Hill was seen running across the end zone at NRG Stadium when he suddenly pulled up in visible pain.

There was no one else near Hill, who then had to be helped off the field before being carted away for treatment.
