Miami Dolphins running backs coach Eric Studesville left NFL fans seething on Thursday night after berating one of his own players over a 'bulls***' tripping call.
Early in the second quarter of their game against the Baltimore Ravens, Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon was controversially penalized after appearing to slip and bring down Ravens linebacker Mike Green by accident.
Referees called a penalty and wiped out a huge 40-yard pass by Tua Tagovailoa to Jaylen Waddle in the process, leaving an enraged Gordon was in visible disbelief.
However, Studesville seemingly felt differently and made his displeasure known, with Prime cameras capturing their heated exchange on the sideline.
The Miami coach was seen ripping into his running back as he walked off the field, sparking a wild reaction from Gordon as he threw his helmet to the floor in disgust. After shouting in Studesville's direction, he was then consoled by a teammate as he walked off in the opposite direction.
And given how contentious the tripping call was, NFL fans believe Studesville should be fired for not having Gordon's back.

'That coach that yelled at him needs to be sacked,' one user claimed on X.
Another simply posted: 'yeah fire this dude'.
'It was a bad call and that coach ripping into him isn’t helping the situation at all. It’s just bad coaching,' said a third.
'Unfortunate Gordon slipped but inexcusable the reaction by the coach,' concluded a fourth.
A fifth put: 'as a coach i get disciplining ur players, in this case I have no idea what a coach can be p***ed about, “dont f***ing trip” like what'.
While another said sarcastically: 'Bulls*** call and then his coach yelled at him for it, very reasonable'.
