The Detroit Lions social media team made the extraordinary decision to censor Jameson William's hat during his post-game press conference after Sunday's win over the Washington Commanders.

Speaking to reporters following his six-catch, 119-yard, one-touchdown performance, the smiling Williams was seen in a brightly colored hat adorned with 'SEX' – the word and not an illustration of the act.

Fans were naturally confused to see a blur hovering above the 24-year-old's head.

'They didn't have to blur s*** out,' one wrote on X. 'Sex isn't a bad word.'

'Guy can't even wear chrome heart without the media on his d***,' another added.

Many others were reminded of Jameson's 2024 pelvis-thrusting touchdown celebration, which resulted in a $25,000 fine.

'Dude is a freak,' one wrote.

It's been an up-and-down season for the mercurial receiver from Alabama.

Despite some inconsistencies, though, he has recorded more than 100 receiving yards in two games this season and is currently averaging an impressive 17.6 yards per reception.

'I'm the same player every day,' Williams told reporters after Sunday's win. 'It don't matter if I'm getting the ball or not getting the ball. I'm the same player when I wake up, I go to meetings, practice, or when I wake up Sunday for the game. I try to not let that affect me.

'I just go out there and make plays whenever my number is called. That's just huge and the biggest difference for me. I just want to make plays when my number is called, no matter how many times it's called.'

The 6-3 Lions were absolutely dominant on offense Sunday, beating the Commanders 44-22 with 320 passing yards from Jared Goff and another 142 rushing yards from Jahmyr Gibbs.

In total, Detroit gained 546 yards from scrimmage.

Now they head to Philadelphia next week for a matchup with the defending-champion Eagles.
