Newcastle have rejected a formal offer from Liverpool for wantaway star striker Alexander Isak, according to a report.
The Reds had previously made an informal approach for the 25-year-old, who did not join his Magpies team-mates on their tour of Asia and has been training at his former club, Real Sociedad.
Liverpool expressed an interest to do a deal in the region of £120million but according to The Athletic, the Premier League champions have now seen an official bid turned down.
