Police are investigating a break-in at the home of NBA superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, according to a report.
The break-in happened at around 7:45pm local time at the mansion in Nichols Hills, an upscale residential area on the outskirts of Oklahoma City, which is believed to belong to the NBA champion.
The reigning MVP was playing in the Oklahoma City Thunder's game against the Washington Wizards at the Paycom Center at the time of the incident.
Officers swiftly responded to the scene but suspects had fled the area before their arrival, an official press release from the Nichols Hills Police Department stated.
No arrests are believed to have been made at this time but police insisted that there is no reason to believe the public is in danger. There will be an increased police presence throughout in the area throughout Friday's Halloween festivities.
No one was said to be home at the time of the break-in, according to News 9. It is currently unclear if anything was stolen from the property.

According to multiple reports, Gilgeous-Alexander is said to live at the property with his wife Hailey Summers, who he married in 2024, and their one-year-old son, Ares.
When contacted by The Daily Mail Nichols Hills Police Department referred to its press release, which does not name the basketball player.
A heavy police presence was seen in the neighborhood as officers investigated the scene for a number of hours. The Thunders general manager, Same Presti, was also spotted.
The Daily Mail has contacted the Oklahoma City Thunder for comment.
An investigation into the incident has been launched with police urging anyone with information to come forward.
