Michael Strahan got very carried away after both New York teams started the new NFL season 1-0 as he declared a Giants vs Jets Super Bowl.
The Giants, Strahan's former team, got off to a stunning start by beating the Dallas Cowboys on the first Sunday Night Football of the season.
Their win came hours after the Jets beat the Tennessee Titans in convincing fashion on the road.
It is the first time since 2009 that both teams from New York have started 1-0 and Strahan is enjoying every moment.
Asked about his Giants on Fox NFL Sunday, Strahan left his co-stars - Rob Gronkowski, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Curt Menefee - laughing at his optimism.
'We're going to the Super Bowl,' Strahan declared. 'That's right. And we're playing the Jets, America. That's right. Giants-Jets Super Bowl.'

An excited Bradshaw declared: 'I want some of that!', but former New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski predictably poured cold water on the prediction.
'Getting a little crazy!' The legendary tight end declared, raising his hand to suggest Strahan calms things down.
Strahan went on to break down more sensibly what he saw from the Giants in Week 1, believing they have turned a real corner under new head coach Jim Harbaugh.
He continued: 'But for every Giants fan out there, everyone watching that game, it was good to watch because you saw a clear game plan.
'You also saw a better organized team, and you saw a team that usually were in situations, I'm sure every Giants fan sat there and held their breath going, 'when are they going to go down, when are we going to blow it', and they didn't.
'They controlled the ball when they needed to control the ball. They were the more physical team.
'The way Skattebo ran the ball, the decisive decisions that Dart made at quarterback. Looking at his first read, not there, bam, hit number two.
'Then defensively, up front, the things that they were able to do there. I think Jim Harbaugh has brought an accountability and brought a confidence that this team can finish games.

'Last year, six games they were up by more than 10 points in the fourth quarter. Lost all of them. I have a feeling that he's taught this team you play to win, you don't play not to lose, and that seemed to be the difference this time.'
The Giants return to action on Monday Night Football, when they take on the Super Bowl favorite Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
The Jets, meanwhile, are taking on the Green Bay Packers in their home opener today (Sunday, Sept. 20) with both teams aiming to take their win tally to two from two.
