Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, shared an update on her podcast hiatus as she candidly opened up on her personal life.

Kelly, 36, announced that she was temporarily stepping away from her podcast, The Morning After, in early October in a bid to focus on her mental health.

Almost two months into her sabbatical, the mother-of-four has revealed that fans will have to wait a while longer for her return.

In the latest update shared in a social media post on Wednesday, Kelly explained that she was extending her time away  to focus on supporting her NFL husband and their four children.

Stafford and the Rams are in the midst of a 9-2 season with the team shaping up to be Super Bowl contenders, while the signal caller is in the MVP conversation.

'I feel this pull to get back to my roots, and to do that, I have to pour into the people I love most,' Kelly posted. 'l've got a husband in the middle of one hell of a season, and I want to be fully locked in with him.

The 36-year-old previously announced that she was stepping back from her podcast

'I want to be present for my girls. I want to give my whole heart to the people who have always given theirs to me.'

Kelly, who shares twins Sawyer and Chandler, eight, Hunter, seven, and Tyler, five, with the quarterback, insisted that it wasn't a 'goodbye' but rather a 'see y'all later.'

'Thank you for letting me grow, change, fall apart, rebuild, and evolve right alongside you. Thank you for loving me through all my versions,' she added.

'I'm excited for whatever the next chapter of TMA becomes someday.'

Kelly's initial decision to take a step back came less than two months after co-host Hank Winchester returned to the podcast after he was previously accused of making unwanted sexual advances to a man during a massage.

Winchester, an Emmy-winning television reporter in Detroit, opened up about the allegations after he was cleared by law enforcement after they conducted an investigation.

Winchester returned to the podcast he co-hosts with Kelly and spoke about taking polygraph tests and the 'emotionally exhausting process' he went through.

'There was an allegation that was made against me by someone and police have a responsibility in these situations to investigate allegations,' said Winchester, whose Beverly Hills home was searched by police on June 13 after they obtained a warrant.

'But they should also take the time to investigate the person making the allegations. It is kind of one of the lessons I've learned in all of this.

'And as a result of some action that was taken by the local law enforcement, there was a local media report that was done by one station in particular and that really kind of spread like wildfire.'

Winchester did not name the specific news station. After the allegations were unveiled, he was placed on administrative leave with Detroit's NBC affiliate Local 4 News (WDIV). It's not clear if Winchester has since been taken off administrative leave.

Fox2 Detroit, one of the stations which reported on the allegations, said at the time that Winchester had studied massage therapy recently. It's not clear if he was the masseuse or if he was receiving a massage when the allegations occurred.
