10 minutes to go
OK, it's time to get a little excited.
The warm-ups have just been wrapped up, and the final team talks are going on as we speak.
We have just 10 minutes until we see the ball start rolling here at Old Trafford.
I hope these next 10 minutes absolutely fly by.

Goals expected?
I think we could be in for a belter of a game today.
Why?
Well, because Brighton have kept just one clean sheet in their last 20 Premier League games, a 2-0 win at Wolves in May. The Seagulls have lost just two of their last 13 league games, however (W7 D4).
So surely that trend will continue today...

300 up for Bruno
Jeez, time really does fly by.
It feels like just yesterday when Manchester United pulled off a major coup by beating their rivals to signing Bruno Fernandes.
But it's actually been nearly six years...
Yep, I know, mental. Today will be Fernandes' 300th appearance in a United shirt.
Can he mark it with a goal?

Black Cats stun Chelsea
Wow, wow, wow!
Big news in the 3pm kick-offs as Sunderland have just pulled off a major shock by beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Not only that, but they did it with a 93rd-minute winner.
I mean, I don't know what is in the water this season, but there are so many late winners. Crazy.
Follow all the reaction below.

Cunha's drought
Matheus Cunha has slightly underwhelmed at Man United, don't you think?
OK, OK, don't all come for me at once United fans... maybe I am being a bit harsh, but it's not like the summer signing has set the world alight yet.
He has shown glimpses of his talent that we saw on display at Wolves last season, but the striker is yet to find the back of the net this season.
It's nearly November.
You feel like he has to start banging goals in soon, otherwise, concerns may become a little more common. Or maybe I'm just being dramatic.
Either way, he will want to score for his own good today.

Welbeck to haunt former flame?
I'm going to side with Chris here.
Not necessarily about what the result will be, but rather that Danny Welbeck is going to ball out.
Welbeck has scored four goals in his last three Premier League games, more than he had in his previous 15 (3).
With braces against Chelsea and Newcastle in this run, this is only the third season in which he’s scored multiple goals in more than one game after 2013-14 (2) and 2017-18 (2).
I reckon he will get on the scoresheet again.

Brighton the bogey team
Brighton will be extremely cnfident rolling up to Old Trafford today.
Why?
Well, it's a ground where they usually have a lot of fun. And I mean a lot of fun.
Brighton have won each of their last three Premier League away games against Manchester United – the last side to win more consecutive league visits to Old Trafford were Manchester City between 1968 and 1972 (5).
Yes, United may be confident after beating Liverpool, but that doesn't change the fact that Brighton are their bogey team. They have lost six of their last seven league games against them.
Can the Seagulls do them over again?

Brighton Team News - De Kuyper STARTS
And in the blue (and white) corner.
Just the one change to the Brighton side that beat Newcastle last week, as Maxim De Kuyper comes into the team.
Danny Welbeck returns to the ground where he started his career looking to continue his hot streak in front of goal.

Man United Team News - NO Maguire
See, no Harry Maguire.
I have no idea why, but the man who earned Manchester United a memorable win at Anfield last week is not involved this week.
Mason Mount is also out, as Ruben Amorim makes two changes to last week's team.
Benjamin Sesko and Leny Yoro both come in.

Maguire injured?
Hmmm...
The team news has just come out (I will kindly share it with you in a moment), but there is one big name missing from Manchester United's teamsheet.
Who? Last week's hero, Harry Maguire.
I have stared at the teamsheet for the last few minutes and nope, his name isn't on there?
Could he be injured? Let's hope Ruben Amorim provides some clarity.

Amorim: 'Liverpool win is in the past'

Are United back?
I was stood on a big red cliff in the Utah desert when I looked at my phone and saw that Manchester United had beaten Liverpool.
Random, I know, but that's besides the point.
I couldn't believe it at the time. I was standing next to a United fan who was so stunned by the score at Anfield that he couldn't even celebrate.
It was a huge win for Ruben Amorim and his side. It felt like the moment all the torture he had been through had finally come to an end; things are clicking at last.
So, are United on an upward trajectory now?
I still think it's too soon to tell, and we will learn more about them today as they face Brighton than we learned last week.
Win today, and United fans can start to get excited.

Strung out Saturday
Today is not your usual Saturday afternoon of footie, that's for sure.
My working day has only just got going when usually I'm up early for the lunchtime kick-off. I can't lie, it was nice to have a lie-in.
Instead, we have a nighttime match tonight, and only a couple of 3pm kick-offs are currently on.
Here is the full schedule of the day:
- Chelsea 1-1 Sunderland (latest)
- Newcastle 1-0 Fulham (latest)
- Manchester United vs Brighton, 17:30 BST
- Brentford vs Liverpool, 20:00 BST

Resurgent Red Devils return
Is it that time already?
It has been a very strange Saturday; normally, I am on my second blog of the day by now, but not this weekend.
All the action is coming later in the day than normal, and we still have two tasty Premier League matches coming your way, starting at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are looking to continue their fine form with a third win on the bounce, as they face a Brighton side who usually see their dreams come true at the theatre in Trafford.
I have been away for the past couple of weeks, so I, for one, can't wait for this to get going. I'm buzzing, in fact.
Let's get this show on the road.
