New York Knicks star Josh Hart is the latest high-profile athlete to be targeted by thieves.
As reported by the New York Post, the 30-year-old NBA veteran had $185,000 in watches and jewelry stolen from the SoHo hotel where he was staying earlier this year.
Hart reportedly dropped off a duffle bag inside The Dominick Hotel on Spring Street around 12:30pm on September 5, but when he returned, a case containing three watches and one bracelet was missing.
No arrests have been made in the case. The Daily Mail has reached out to New York police and Hart's agents for confirmation.
One of three former Villanova teammates currently on the Knicks, Hart is making nearly $20 million this season and almost $84 million in career earnings over nine NBA seasons.
He’s averaging 10.4 points and 7.1 rebounds a game, primarily coming off the bench for coach Mike Brown’s team. The Knicks are 11-6 entering Friday's game against the injury-plagued Milwaukee Bucks.

Hart is hardly the first athlete to be targeted by thieves in recent years.
Shedeur Sanders' house in suburban Cleveland was reportedly broken into while he made his NFL debut for the Browns earlier this month. That came a little more than a year after Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Mahomes and teammate Travis Kelce had their homes raided during a game against the New Orleans Saints.
Similarly, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow saw his Ohio home broken into while he was helping Cincinnati beat the Cowboys in Texas last season.
And NBA players have faced the same issues.
Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was robbed this year after thieves targeted fellow league stars Luka Doncic, Ja Morant and Hart's Knicks teammate, Karl-Anthony Towns, last season.
