After months of speculation, former Manly Sea Eagles halfback Daly Cherry-Evans has now officially signed with the Sydney Roosters.
The 36-year-old has officially made the move to Bondi on a one-year-contract believed to be worth $500,000.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson has welcomed the Queensland veteran to the club.
“Daly’s experience and understanding of the game will be a strong addition to our group and we’re excited to welcome him to the Roosters.
I’m looking forward to working with him,” he said in an official Roosters statement.
The announcement comes after months of rumours surrounding Cherry-Evans future in the NRL whilst he was still contracted to Manly.

The 36-year-old's signing brings a close to a messy chapter of his long standing career in the NRL.
His call to announce he wouldn't be continuing with Manly earlier this year on Nine's 100% Footy, raised many eyebrows within the rugby league world.
Cherry Evans will link up with his new Roosters teammates by the end of this month.
His old club Manly, will play their first season without Cherry Evans as their starting number 7 since 2011 next year, when new signing Jamal Fogarty joins from Canberra.
The Roosters haven't won an NRL premiership since 2019, when they became the first team to claim back-to-back titles, but will be hoping Cherry-Evans' vast experience can help bring them back to the top.
