Emotional Chiefs star Chris Jones is trolled by fans for crying during another national anthem before Commanders game

Once again, Kansas City Chiefs pass rusher Chris Jones was seen letting his emotions out during the national anthem.

Jones is one of the most feared pass rushers in the game in the past few years and a key contributor to a team that has won multiple Super Bowls in his tenure.

But he is also known to be seen crying during 'The Star-Spangled Banner' as it gets played before games.

It's happened during big moments before - including during multiple Super Bowls and the AFC Championship game.

So, when Jones was caught getting misty eyed before Monday Night Football against the Washington Commanders in Week 8, fans mocked him for tearing up.

'Why is Chris Jones always crying on my tv screen bruh?' one fan on X commented.

One comment mockingly read, 'Chris Jones and this damn crying.' 

'They really have to stop showing Chris Jones crying during the anthem lol,' said another fan. 

Another post said, 'Death, taxes and Chris Jones crying at the National anthem.'

Jones and the Chiefs are hoping to take advantage of the Commanders being without star quarterback Jayden Daniels.

The reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is dealing with a low-grade hamstring strain he suffered against the Dallas Cowboys earlier this year.

Backup Marcus Mariota started the game in his place.
