Pep Guardiola has apologised for his post-match antics after Man City were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle on Saturday night.
At full-time a disgruntled Guardiola launched into intense discussions with Magpies star Bruno Guimaraes, match officials and even a cameraman.
Guardiola appeared furious and entered into a back-and-forth with Guimaraes before speaking with referee Sam Barott and his assistants. The 54-year-old was then seen giving a cameraman an earful.
But, speaking ahead of City's Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday, the Spaniard admitted his regret at what had gone on.
'I apologise,' he began. 'I apologise. I feel embarrassed and ashamed when I see it (replays of his actions). I don't like it.
'I apologised to the cameraman after one second so...'

When pressed further, Guardiola continued: 'I am who I am. I am who I am. Even with 1,000 games as a manager I'm not a perfect person.
'I made a huge mistake so it's not about that, but what is for sure is I defend my team and my club. That's for sure.
'The reason why (I did what I did) is I want to defend my team and my club. That is no doubt because for my experience to win the Premier League you have to win 100 points and 98 points - otherwise we don't win.
'Losing four games in 12 we have to improve a lot to be in the contenders.'
The Newcastle match was full of controversy, with City furious that they were not awarded a first-half penalty when Phil Foden was on the receiving end of a heavy tackle by Fabian Schar.
There were also question marks over whether Gianluigi Donnarumma had been fouled before Harvey Barnes' second goal, as well as Guimaraes potentially being offside in the build-up.
Despite City feeling they had been hard done-by, the goal stood and proved to be the decisive blow in a blockbuster affair in the North East.
Asked by the BBC post-match about his words with the match officials, Guardiola did not give much away.
'No questions, everything is fine,' he said.
He also told Sky Sports of his discussions with Guimaraes: 'I said how good he is (but that conversation) is for private situations. Everything is fine.'
