Fans are convinced Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo learned their iconic dance celebration from Ruben Amorim, after old footage of the Manchester United manager went viral on social media.
The Red Devils earned their third successive win in the Premier League with a 4-2 victory over Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday, with Brazilian duo Matheus Cunha and Casemiro scoring before the break and Mbeumo netting twice in the second half.
After scoring his first and United's third in the 61st minute, Mbeumo celebrated by busting some moves with team-mate Amad, whom he combined with superbly throughout the game on the right flank.
As they performed the celebration, inspired directly by the music video of Afrobeats 2024 dance hit Shake It to the Max, the Red Devils duo covered their eyes with their hands while looking down and rotating their hips in a samba motion.
Their choreographed dance continued after the match, as Ayden Heaven captured footage of Mbeumo and Amad gyrating their hips while topless in the Manchester United dressing room.
Fans have now claimed it was Amorim who taught the duo how to dance like that, after watching a video of the Portuguese during his playing days.

The footage, shared to social media on Tuesday, showed Amorim scoring for Benfica from long range against bitter rivals Porto, before wheeling away in celebration.
Although by no means identical, Amorim's celebration bore an uncanny resemblance to the dance performed by Mbeumo and Amad – sparking intrigue online.
'I think they saw that and thought to recreate it. Bonding between manager and players seems to be good,' one fan posted.
A second wrote: 'Wait… Amorim taught Amad and Mbeumo the dance?!'
'No way,' another added with a laughing emoji, commenting in response.
Replying to the user who shared the video, a third fan said: 'Lucky he didn’t teach them finishing! That’s a wholesome to see tho! Nice find!'
Other eagle-eyed fans noticed that another Premier League manager starred in the throwback clip.
Amorim's long-distance strike went in thanks to a goalkeeping howler from current West Ham United boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who played between the sticks for Porto during that match.

The shot, which bobbled multiple times off the turf before reaching the goalkeeper, cannoned off Santo's knee and dribbled into the back of the net, much to his dismay.
United's victory over Brighton launched Amorim's side into sixth place in the Premier League table after what was another difficult start to the season at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, West Ham suffered yet another disappointing result with a 2-0 loss at Leeds, remaining second from bottom with just four points on the board.
