With a few hours remaining until the NFL trade deadline, players are on edge to see if they may be moved. One star wide receiver's father is hoping that happens for his son.
The Chicago Bears are in a solid spot in the NFC North division - sitting at 5-3 and in contention for a Wild Card berth.
However, the team is rumored to be considering moving at least one of their wide receivers before the 4:00pm deadline this afternoon.
While the most likely name is DJ Moore, the father of wideout Rome Odunze hopes that his son gets moved soon.
Odunze played 47 snaps in the Bears' 47-42 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. But, despite running 43 routes on the day, he didn't have a single catch on three targets.
On social media, an X account appearing to belong to the receiver's father, James Odunze, retweeted a post saying, 'Can the bears trade Rome Odunze to a team that will actually throw to him'.

James quote-tweeted that post with a pin emoji - appearing to indicate his agreement with the sentiment.
Since being drafted ninth overall out of the University of Washington, Odunze has struggled to match the dynamism that he showed in college.
However, that comes at the same time the Bears were struggling to find second gear on offense.
