Christian Horner joined his wife Geri at Watford's Championship clash against Coventry on Saturday, with his old F1 team Red Bull in Mexico ahead of a crucial Grand Prix in the title race.
Horner, 51, was given a huge £80million payoff by Red Bull after being brutally sacked from his long-term role as team principal back in July.
No longer spending his weekends at Grand Prix events around the world, the former F1 chief was able to join his wife Geri, former Spice Girls star and keen Watford fan, at the football.
Horner, despite eagerly pursuing a move back to F1, has enjoyed his time away from the grid over the past few months, spotted at an Oasis gig at Wembley before heading off on a road trip with Geri through the Scottish Highlands.
His appearance at Coventry, who sit at the top of the Championship after a superb start to the season under Frank Lampard, was certainly not a good luck charm for Geri's Watford, who fell two goals behind inside seven minutes.
