He has excelled at every format of the game, now cricket superstar Michael Clarke is set to step into the world of cricket administration.

Clarke has built a steady presence in cricket media through television commentary, radio hosting and his own digital platforms since he retired from cricket in 2015.

He worked with major Australian broadcasters as part of their cricket coverage teams, providing analysis across Test, ODI and T20 matches.

He also became a familiar voice on morning radio, co-hosting the Big Sports Breakfast for several years and offering daily commentary on cricket, NRL and wider sports stories.

Now, he has been appointed league commissioner of the Legends Pro T20 League in India.

The Legends Pro T20 League is a new global tournament bringing together 90 iconic former international cricketers across six franchise teams.

The league features stars such as Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Shane Watson and Dale Steyn.

Its inaugural edition will run from January 26 to February 4, 2026, entirely at the new 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium in Goa.

'India, being one of the biggest homes of cricket, holds a special place for me,' Clarke said.

'The passion of the fans, the pride, and the privilege of being part of this league, and the chance to reunite with some old friends as well as fierce rivals, make it truly special.

'I am really excited to be part of the Legends Pro T20 League in this new role. It's thrilling to see so many top players coming together in one league.

'Goa is a fantastic venue, and I can't wait to see fans enjoy high-quality cricket, competitive contests, and unforgettable moments on the field.'
