Liverpool have been buoyed by the return of first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker for their clash against Nottingham Forest.
But boss Arne Slot tempered optimism over the injury boost with the revelation that Florian Wirtz and Conor Bradley are set to miss time during the hectic winter schedule.
The pair are set to miss Saturday's clash against Forest. Both featured for their nations during the most recent international break. Bradley appeared in both matches for Northern Ireland, completing the full 90 minutes in their 1-0 defeat by Slovakia before playing only 45 of the win over Luxembourg before being withdrawn.
Wirtz, meanwhile, starred for Germany in matches against the same opposition.
