Terry McLaurin's contract saga is over as the Commanders receiver has reportedly agreed to an eye-watering new contract with the franchise.
McLaurin, 29, requested a trade earlier this offseason and skipped the first four days of training camp as he sought an improved deal going into the final year of his current contract.
Now, McLaurin has gotten the raise he was looking for as he and the Commanders have agreed to a three-year extension worth over $96million, as reported by Jordan Schultz.
The second-team All-Pro's new deal will place him in the upper echelon of earners at his position, with his annual average salary of $32million only behind Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, D.K. Metcalf and Garrett Wilson.
The Eagles' A.J. Brown also rakes in an average of $32million per year, level with McLaurin's extension.
The Washington star, who is entering his seventh season with the Commanders, had been entering the final season of his three-year, $68.2 million contact.
